ABN / CAC IS NOT CURRENT
All parties must be registered in the ICS. When the party is a Registered Australian Business the ICS uses the ABN (Australian Business Number). However sometimes companies change their ABN or an ABN may expire. In this case you will see this error.
In most cases the issue here is the ABN has changed or is incorrectly been entered. Use the ICS to query the ABN via the Client – Search facility. Once found then enter the correct ABN / CAC in the Customs entry screen.
To update your customer’s ABN in Expedient:
Main Menu - Administration - Customer Master File. Update the ABN Field once you have found the client.
